Traditional media planning treats audiences as demographic segments: age, gender, income, location. This works for mass-market consumer goods. It fails spectacularly for music and entertainment.
A 28-year-old in Madrid who attends Sónar is a fundamentally different activation target than a 28-year-old in Madrid who goes to reggaeton beach festivals. They share demographics. They share nothing else. The nuances of genre affinity, community belonging, and cultural identity make generic audience segments worse than useless — they're actively misleading.
## The Insight: Community-Based Segmentation
We built an audience intelligence platform for the music and entertainment industry based on a radical premise: **music audiences are cultural communities, not demographic cohorts**.

### Privacy-First Design Every data flow runs through a **GDPR-compliant ETL pipeline** with: - Granular consent tracking at the data source level - Privacy-preserving matching (no raw PII exposure between partners) - Right-to-deletion support across all data sources - Consent decay monitoring and re-permission workflows
