Rewritten for the global ReMotive site · 10 September 2026. Practical guidance, with no promised performance outcome.

Define the audience and the occasion.
Begin with who you need to reach and what the communication needs to do. Consider where viewing happens, who may be watching together and how the creative will work in that setting.
Give every format a reason to be there.
Compare broadcast, connected TV and online video against the brief. Review available inventory, audience information, buying terms, creative requirements and measurement options in the relevant market. A format’s name alone does not establish its value.
Ask about overlap before buying.
People can encounter the same campaign across several services and devices. Ask suppliers what they can measure and control, and where their view ends. Do not assume a single frequency cap works across an entire video plan.
Make the next step recognisable.
Carry the proposition into search, the website and other relevant touchpoints. Choose a clear action that fits the campaign. A strong film cannot resolve an unclear offer or a difficult mobile destination.
Agree the evidence in advance.
Separate delivery measures from evidence of business impact. Completion, reach and attributed visits answer different questions. Define what can be established from reporting and what would need a controlled test before making a causal claim.
