Rewritten for the global ReMotive site · 10 September 2026. Practical guidance, with no promised performance outcome.
A campaign can earn attention. The next question is what makes the relationship worth continuing. Start there before choosing a community platform.
Find the shared interest.
Understand where people already gather, what they value and what your brand can credibly contribute. A useful role might be specialist advice, access to experiences or a space for people to help each other.
Design the reason to return.
Plan an editorial rhythm, participation opportunities and clear moderation. Paid media can introduce the idea; the experience itself needs to justify another visit. An owned space also needs people and resources to run it.
Measure a relationship.
Choose measures that fit the purpose: repeat participation, member contributions, useful enquiries or relevant purchases. Compare them with a defined starting point. A growing member count alone does not establish commercial value.
Bring this question to your next brief.
What would people miss if this community disappeared?
